I provide a heart-centered, curious place to explore the emerging elements of self that need to be seen, heard, and honored.
My approach is very eclectic, however I strive to be guided by heart and spirit. I believe that when we can surrender control or an expectation of an outcome, it allows the space for the transcendent to move. We may play, enact, talk, create. Sessions begin with dropping in to what is present in the body/psyche/spirit that needs space to be honored, heard, acknowledged, or witnessed. Together, we will gain clarity about what parts of you are emerging. We will honor the fear, hesitation, resistance and other ways the various parts of you have been working so hard to keep you safe. Consent is primary and necessary in this work. We will create safe space for the vulnerable parts of you that need care, presence, and understanding. We will make room to give voice to the shamed and voiceless. We will do all of this together.
I work with individual adults and their inner children who are struggling, raw, questioning, or curious. My style of work aligns best with those who are open to journeying into the unknown together and making room for other forms of wisdom or “knowing” (gnosis) that emerge from one’s psyche and soma (body). This is not linear work, but an unwinding of internal knots/contractions/fears/wounds that bind one’s vital life force energy. This work is one of learning to tune into and listen to what’s happening within You. And with learning to listen comes a stronger relationship with and growing TRUST in the Self to navigate the world.
I love working with healers, educators, artists, feelers, dancers, musicians, and those with a strong visual sense.

How it works:
We’ll begin by getting to know each other: Why are you here and what do you want? What do you want your life to look like? Or perhaps, what is the thorn in your heel; what isn’t working anymore? And maybe you don’t know exactly but you need something to change - something isn’t tolerable any more (anxiety, sadness, judgment, a relationship).
Then we start to work together to better understand the patterns in your life and relationships. Many of these are unconscious — we all have blind spots. We will also work to grow more conscious relationships with the parts of yourself that have kept you safe and helped you survive (emotionally, physically, mentally) but that can sometimes get in the way of being in the present (where choice ultimately exists). Once these patterns and styles become more clear, you have the opportunity to make new choices that aligns with and honors your needs, wants, and desires.
Since the basis of therapy is relationship, I recommend regular meetings, ideally weekly, as we get to know each other. Depending on the level of support you are needing, we may increase that support (to more than once per week) or decrease as you gain stability.
I offer both in-person and online sessions and am available to work with anyone within Washington State.
If you have any more specific questions or would like to set up a time to consult over the phone, I offer free 20 minute consultations.
