Session Fees:

My standard fee is $180 per 50-minute session. I also offer sliding scale fees ranging between $150-180.

The foundation of therapy is relationship. And while relationships take time to build and grow, we often have a gut sense as to whether a relationship or dynamic feels right or not from the outset. I offer complimentary 20-minute consultations over-the phone to touch base and feel things out without commitment. Consultations offer a nice opportunity to connect, ask questions, discuss what you’re seeking, and chat for a bit. If it feels like it’s not quite the right fit, I am happy to offer referrals to other clinicians in the area.

Insurance:

I am paneled in-network with the First Choice Health Network: this included included some Kaiser, Providence, and PacificSource Health Plans. Do note that going through insurance requires a diagnosis to be submitted to your insurance company. I am always happy to talk about the benefits and drawbacks of this further with folks.

Beyond the aforementioned insurance companies, I serve as an out-of-network provider. If your insurance allows you to access out-of-network services, our sessions will likely be covered at an out-of-network rate. I can provide you with a monthly detailed receipt for reimbursement (aka a “superbill”). I am also happy to answer any questions you might have regarding the process. I encourage you to contact your insurance company regarding “outpatient mental health benefits,” including the number of visits per year that are covered and what portion of these services would be reimbursed. And don’t forget that mental health services can often be deducted on your income taxes (Make sure to speak with an accountant to determine whether you would be eligible for such a deduction).

Please note that you are responsible for payment in full or for copay at the time of service.
